A VA approved lender; Mortgage Research Center, LLC – NMLS #1907. Not affiliated with any government agency. Not available in AZ, NV, or NY.

Once you secure a VA home loan, staying on top of your mortgage payments is critical. Veterans and military members often have questions about mortgage payments and what follows once you’re beyond closing day.

The maximum VA home loan term is 30 years and 32 days; however, the term may never be for more than the remaining economic life of the property as determined by the appraisal.

Arm loans for bad credit

Adjustable-rate mortgages have gotten a bad name, but not all ARMs are poor deals, and sometimes they make financial sense.

Unlike a fixed-rate bad credit mortgage, in which the interest rate stays the same for the life of the loan, an ARM features an interest rate that changes according to an index.

An ARM offers a lower interest rate at the outset than a fixed-rate loan, so at least in the beginning, your monthly mortgage payments are more affordable. If interest rates remain low or drop, your loan could end up costing less overall than a fixed-rate bad credit home loan.

The human mind fascinates me with the way it recalls past events in our lives.  Especially when it comes to politics.  People who complain now about how “terrible” President Obama has been, or that he’s the “worst president in history,” clearly have a distorted memory of the Bush presidency.

Has Obama been perfect?  Not at all.  Part of that is his fault, part of that is the unrealistic expectations many of us had for him when he was elected in 2008.  But most of it is the fact that upon his election in 2008, the GOP essentially crafted their strategy of opposing  anything  he supports.

A plan that was solidified when liberals allowed conservative voters to give Republicans control over the House of Representatives in 2010.  That was precisely the weapon they needed to block anything and practically everything.
